Numerous Department of Public Works vehicles and DPW workers from around the county, were in the funeral procession, for Steuben County Public Works employee Jerry Miller. Miller was born in Hornell, spent 37 years working for Steuben County and was also a lifelong dairy farmer.

Dozens of Steuben County Public Works employees, local Township and Village employees and local businesses volunteered their time on Friday to escort county Machine Shop Supervisor Jerry Miller to his final resting place in Wayland. In total there were approximately 40 trucks that were led by the Steuben County Sheriff’s vehicles in a procession stretching nearly a mile long and lasting more than 10 minutes to complete. Miller was a 37-year veteran of the county department and a lifelong dairy farmer at Miller Farms
