Hornell City Clerk Missy Logan is submitting her resignation to take another job.
The new city clerk will be Amy Patrick.
Amy Patrick, who is currently executive assistant to the mayor, will hold both positions at Hornell City Hall.
“Missy Logan has played an important role over the years as City Clerk and will be greatly missed,” Mayor John Buckley said in a statement emailed out this morning. “During that same time, Amy Patrick has served as my Executive Assistant and has done a phenomenal job. Amy has a proven track record of success and I am excited to see her grow into this new role.”
