Tenney Says The House GOP Doesn’t Have Enough Votes

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney just called wLEA News. Tenney says, the House Republicans don’t have enough votes to pass the American Relief Act of 2025. “We have a couple of people on the House GOP side, who are not going to vote for the second bill (The American Relief Act of 2025),” Tenney tells WLEA. “we don’t control the senate yet or the White House yet. It’s one thing to have a government shutdown when Trump is in the White House. However, shutting down with a Biden White House, could cause major problems, such as shutting down the TSA and airports at the holidays.” Tenney also says, the Biden Administration is filled with people who want to make things impossible for the incoming Trump Administration. “It’s great that we got a better looking bill, but we don’t have the votes to make it pass, and shutting down until January 20, could cause major problems. You might not even get to a plane, if there is no TSA. I know there are Democrats listening, but there are Democrats who are obsessed with Trump, they’re obsessed with retalitating and they are obsessed with just sabotaging the new incoming Trump Presidency. I just think we need to have common sense at this point,” Tenney said.
