With the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill, we are launching the next great American comeback—restoring prosperity, strength, and freedom for working families across the country, including right here in Upstate New York. This is the largest middle-class tax cut in American history. It ends taxes on tips and overtime, expands the Child Tax Credit, cuts taxes for seniors, and finally lifts the crushing SALT cap that has punished New York homeowners for far too long. We’re bringing jobs back home with 100% expensing for American-made manufacturing—making our country the #1 place in the world to build, invest, and hire. We are restoring fundamental fairness by reinstating common sense work requirements for able-bodied adults receiving government benefits—just like President Clinton did so successfully in the 1990s. If you are able to work, you should work. That principle unites Americans of all stripes and restores dignity and accountability to our safety net. We are securing the border, restoring law and order, and slashing nearly $2 trillion in reckless government spending—protecting vital programs for those truly in need and putting taxpayers, not bureaucrats, back in charge. And for Upstate and rural New York, this is a major win. Two of my bills—the Fair Milk Pricing for Farmers Act and the Dairy Farm Resiliency Act—are now law, securing a stronger future for our dairy producers.
This isn’t just a policy shift—it’s a clear declaration: America is back. The economy is roaring, our values are being restored, and the American Dream is alive and well.
