On Saturday around 12:30pm the Alfred Police Department responded to Cornelius Rd in the Town of Alfred for a report of a single ATV crash. Officials say that a preliminary investigation revealed that a 55-year-old male from the Buffalo area was riding a four-wheeler and lost control and left the roadway. The driver was taken by Mercy flight to ECMC for life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
