Assemblyman Phil Palmesano is hoping that the New York State budget will be finished by next week. “Knowing that there is some certainty at the end of the road is some welcome news,” Palmesano said. “It’s welcome news for local governments, our school districts and our taxpayers, who have been waiting for far too long. This is especially important this year, given the significant policy discussions, which have been added into the conversation since the governor introduced her budget, back in January,” Palmesano said. He also emphasized the need to slow down, on the date for the mandate regarding electric school buses.
