Talana Ingalls of Canisteo, has a son and she says, he has officially accepted the nationwide contest called, the 50 Yard Challenge. “My son Angelo, is 11 years old and he is taking part in the mens and womens 50 Yard Challenge,” Ingalls tells Wlea News. “So what he does is he goes through and mows 50 lawns, for free, for anybody who is elderly, disabled, a single-mom, a first responder or a Veteran. Again, he is doing this for free. At the end of the contest he can win a leather jacket and a lawn mower, a weed wacker and a leaf blower,” Ingalls said. Angelo is currently on yard #45 and is working hard to finish this contest. His mom also says that this challenge is teaching him the value of hard work and community service, and his family would love to share his journey to inspire other local youth to give back,” Talana explained.
