FROM THE HORNELL PUBLIC LIBRARY: “Join us on Wednesday, October 21st at 6 pm as Nancy Lynch presents, “The Real Women, Veterans of Vietnam.” Lynch will read selected war letters, all addressed to her from real nurses and a Donut Dolly from the frontlines. Contrary to public perception, about 10,000 women served in Vietnam, working in communications, intelligence, and administative jobs. This presentation is an ode to all the women who served.”
