Tipped Workers To Get $7.50 An Hour

ALBANY, NY – Governor Andrew Cuomo says the New York State Labor Department’s ruled that there is going to be one wage for tipped workers who work in food services, service employees and service employees in the resort hotels: $7.50 an hour.

The governor also says he wants to eventually see an increase minimum wage statewide from $9.00 an hour to $11.50 an hour.
