The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a K-9 dog bit a child in the mouth and face at a home in Savona, on Saturday.
The child was taken to Strong Memorial, the dog was taken to Bath Dog Control.
Officials from the sheriff’s department say that the investigation continues.
The sheriff’s office is not specifying who owns the K-9 dog.
