The first ever wedding at Union Square park in Hornell, will take place tomorrow, between Noon to 4pm. Mayor Buckley is very enthusiastic about people having a wedding ceremony at the Union Square Park. Also, Hornell Department of Public Works Commissioner Mitch Cornish says, because the wedding will be going on there, Seneca Street from Maple Street to Genesee Street will be blocked off – and Genesee from Seneca Street to Church Street and Seneca from Genesee Street down to Decorator Choice.
In other news, the Wine Country Classic Boat Show is this weekend in Hammondsport. Organizers say, boats will begin to be docked today and early Saturday morning. The Wine Country Classic Boat show beings at 9am Saturday at Depot park. There will be 38 antique boats docked and several more on display on land, in Depot Park. The parade of boats will take place at 3pm Saturday. After that there’s an awards dinner Saturday evening. And then on Sunday there will be the exhibition of the “no octane” regatta.
