State Police described it as a case of “Side seat driver puts lives in danger.” According to troopers, a front seat passenger in a vehicle traveling South bound on ST-19 in the Town of Amity, had a verbal argument with the driver of the vehicle. Troopers say that the woman grabbed the steering wheel and caused the vehicle to exit the roadway and that all four occupants in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The suspect, a 36 year old woman from Belmont, was remanded to the Allegany Co Jail on $1,000.00 bail from the Town of Amity.
