ALFRED, NY – Alfred Village Mayor Jim Ninos says the Festival begins at 6pm this evening with a parade on Main Street. “The parade will go down Pine Street, at which point it will disperse,” Ninos said on Friday’s Newsmaker Show. “The people walking in the parade will veer to the right, the floats and fire trucks and other vehicles will veer to the left on Pine Street, and that will get things going.”
Mayor Ninos also says a big thanks goes out to the committee handling this, for all the work they have done, in particular, Becky Prophet. “Becky has spent an incredible of her time and resources in building this festival,” Ninos explained.
