ALFRED, NY – The Alfred Village Board voted last night, to opt in to the New York State Marijuana Law. Also, the Alfred Village Board voted for the new Noise Law. What sets the new noise ordinance apart from the old law, is that in many cases, the Alfred Police Department can decide for themselves, if someone is being too loud, as opposed to having to wait for a noise complaint from an Alfred resident.
