Alfred University held their Honors Convocation on Friday inside the Miller Theater.
Honorees were: Bethany Johnson who is an associate professor of psychology at Alfred University, Johnson received the Abigail Allen award. Also honored were students Knox VanRenselaar and Owen Nelson.
Juliana Gray, professor of English and director of the University’s Honors Program, was master of ceremonies. “This event is one of my favorites,” Gray said. “What all the students here have in common is they challenged themselves, pushed themselves, and went beyond what was required of them to accomplish great things.”
Graduation at Alfred University, will be May 10.
