ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – The Alfred Village Republicans and Democrats made the following nominations last night: Jim Ninos was nominated to run for mayor (Alfred Mayor Becky Prophet is not seeking re-election this year). Timothy Nichols is going to run for the Ninos trustee seat on the Alfred Village Board, Peter McClain was nominated to run again for his own trustee seat.
