BELMONT, NY – The Allegany County Legislature has voted to approve a merger between the Allegany County Transit Bus System and the one in Cattaraugus County.
Allegany County Legislative Chair Brooke Harris says the two counties have been providing bus trips from Allegany County to Cattaraugus for some time now, but this merger would, if also approved by the Cattaraugus County Legislature, will put both county’s transportation systems under one umbrella.
