BELMONT, NY – The Allegany County District Attorney Keith Slep is retiring. That’s what Assistant Allegany County District Attorney Ian Jones said, on this morning’s Newsmaker Show. “I was fortunate enough to recieve Slep’s endorsement to be the next D.A.,” Jones says. “And I am running and everything that goes with it. So in addition to all the normal D.A. work, there’s the campaign aspect of it all. It’s good to do door-to-door work because you do get to talk with people, and hear what people care about.”
