Almond Village New: Water is Now Drinkable, Palmer Not Running Again

ALMOND N.Y.- The Village of Almond board, announced the retirement of long time trustee Ben Palmer. Palmer has served the village for over 25 years, including a stint as the Village Mayor. His replacement will come after the Village elections on March 18.
The Village has also announced that the Water supply has been re-tested for the sodium levels and were found to be at 81 parts per milliliter which falls well within the state Health department’s guidelines for acceptable levels for drinking.
