FROM NYSP: On October 1, 2024, at 8:40 P.M., Troopers out of SP Amity responded to a motorcycle collision on State Route 21 in the town of Andover. Investigation determined that the 2017 Harley Davidson was traveling north bound on State Route 21 and exited the east shoulder of the roadway striking the ditch. The operator, James E. Riefer, 62 of Arkport, NY was pronounced at the scene.
The NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in this investigation.
