April 11th – Steuben County Update: Two More Deaths, Four More Positive Cases

The Steuben County Public Health Nurse Darlene Smith reports that there were two more Covid-19 deaths in Hornell. A 78 year old male died while hospitalized, and a 93 year old woman died while in a Hornell area nursing home. This brings the Covid-19 death toll in Steuben County up to 10. “As the number of Covid-19 deaths in Steuben County grows, so should our resolve to help stop spread this virus,” said Steuben County Public Health Nurse Darlene Smith. “We owe it to our community and to our neighbors. Stay home, stay safe and stay healthy.”

The public health nurse also says, there are four more cases today, bringing the Steuben County Covid-19 count, up to 147. The latest Covid-19 patients are from North Hornell, Canisteo, Corning and Urbana.
