Margaret Halpenny, a student at Arkport Central School, recently earned a Top 10 finish at the National Archery In Schools Program (NASP) Eastern National Tournament in archery, in Louisville, Kentucky. Margaret has worked incredibly hard to reach this level of competition, and her dedication recently led her to a 10th place finish against some of the top student archers in the country. She came in 10th place. (They say that to make it into the top 1,000 is impressive.) Her mother, Amanda Halpenny, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with Arnot Health and has continued supporting Margaret through her archery journey.
