FROM THE ARKPORT VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT:
Yesterday, 10/4/2025 we were dispatched at 2:47pm along with North Hornell Volunteer Fire Department and City of Hornell Fire Department ambulance for the 2 car MVC on County Route 66, caller was a passerby, unknown injuries and unknown entrapment. Later updated to negative injuries, negative entrapment, but blocking on State Route 21.
Rescue 38, Car 201, and Car 202 responded from Arkport and provided traffic control. Engine 15, Engine 85, and Car 27 responded from North Hornell and provided the same. Hornell ambulance signed off two patients. NYS Troopers were on location and handled the investigation.
