Arkport Mayor George Prete tells WLEA News that the Arkport Village Board is working to get a grant from the state for about $200,000. This would be to construct two pickeLball courts at the Arkport Village Park, with fences and lighting too. The grant would also cover resurfacing the basketball courts at the Arkport Village Park. There will be a public hearing on this, Tuesday night, April 25, at 6:00pm.

The Village of Arkport Board of Trustees will hold a PUBLIC HEARING for the 2025-2026 Budget on April 15, 2025 at
6:00PM. (This will include the topic of getting two pickelball courts in Arkport.)
The Board of Trustees will hold an Organizational Meeting in the Village Community Room at 6:30pm, 6 Park Ave. Arkport.
The Regular Board Meeting for the Village of Arkport will be held April 15, 2025 at 7:00PM in the Village Community Room.
