ARKPORT, NY – Arkport Mayor Charlie Flanders says that the village’s water infrastructure still has many leaks. Some of it has been repaired, but DPW Chief Bob Mauro estimates they are still losing 40% of the water running through the lines.
According to Mauro, Arkport is currently pumping 71 gallons a minute when actually only using around 45 gallons.
