ARKPORT, NY – The Arkport Village Board is going to start charging the Arkport Fire Department to rent the fire hall.
Rent will be about $5,000 a year.

Also it was discussed about whether it should be required to be a resident or just a property owner to buy burial plots at the Arkport Cemetery at a reduced cost. The law currently states that you must be a current resident for the discount. The board agreed to let cemetery director Tom Hunt revise the wording of the law allowing property owners/tax payers to also be eligible for the discount.
