Armed Robbery At Wellsville McDonalds

WELLSVILLE, NY – State Police are reporting the arrest of two suspects for robbery in the 2nd Degree.  The suspects, Ryan W. Schrader and Rebecca L. Baker, both 32 years old and both Wellsville residents, are accused of entering the back door of the Wellsville McDonald’s in the early morning hours on August 11th, displaying what appeared to be a small black handgun, and making off with approximately $357 in cash.

State Police also report that Schrader and Baker are also suspected of committing a burglary to “Just One More” bar in Shongo, N.Y. And also Grand Larceny of cash from Short’s Gas Station in Stannards. Troopers also say that upon his arrest Schrader was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of crack cocaine.

Schrader was arrested for Robbery 2nd, Grand Larceny 4th, Burglary 3rd and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree. Baker was arrested for Robbery 2nd, Burglary 3rd and Grand Larceny 4th.

In addition, the Village of Wellsville Police Department charged both suspects with 2 counts of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Attempted Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and Petit Larceny. Those charges stem from multiple break-ins at an establishment located on North Main St. in the Village of Wellsville.hamburgler 1hamburgler 2

Schrader and Baker were both arraigned in the Village of Wellsville court with Schrader being remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $50,000 bail and Baker in lieu of $20,000 bail.
