There are two arson charges in the region: Bath Village Police say Michael Campbell, 53, is accused of arson in the 3rd degree. Campbell is alleged to have caused a structure fire on West Pulteney Square in Bath, a year ago. Campbell was sent to Steuben County Jail, $5,000 bail.
Also, State Police say that Jonathan Nickerson, 28, of Scio is accused of lighting his own house on fire. Nickerson is also charged with 3rd degree arson, he was released on his own recognizance.
