Last Wednesday, I visited the South Hornell Fire Department. They invited me down to see some very serious issues involving the building they are housed in. Their fire trucks barely fit into the building. It was so tight. I couldn’t even get a good picture because there was no room. They have a new truck sitting under a shelter – exposed to the weather- because that is the only place. These good fire fighters need help themselves. I am looking into a few things but if other departments have thoughts, please contact me.
