AVOCA, NY – Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on September 21, 2021, deputies and investigators of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Adam J. Hosmer, age 33, of Main Street, Avoca, following an investigation of burglaries and possession of stolen property in the Towns of Avoca, Bath and Cohocton from August 2021 to present.
It is alleged that Mr. Hosmer entered premises and stole property. It is further alleged that Mr. Hosmer secreted that property at another location. Mr. Hosmer was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a class E Felony. Mr. Hosmer was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
