AVOCA, NY – From the sheriff’s department: Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on October 13, 2022, Steuben County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brandon J. Heatherman, age 19, of State Route 415, Avoca, New York, following an investigation of a reported assault and domestic incident in Avoca, New York. It is alleged that Heatherman struck two victims causing injury and damaged property. Heatherman was charged with two counts of Assault in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Heatherman was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
