State Police Released The Following Statement:
The Bolivar Police Department and the NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) out of SP Amity are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred at Steuben Trust, 319 Main Street, Bolivar, NY at approximately 11:00 A.M. on July 24, 2018.
SP Amity BCI are assisting the Bolivar Police Department in which a suspect walked into Steuben Trust Bank and demanded money by a handwritten note. The suspect was given an undetermined amount of money and exited on foot. The suspect may have used a vehicle or remained on foot to a nearby area. The suspect is a white male, between 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches tall and believed to be in his 20’s.
