On December 18, 2023, at approximately 4:00 P.M., Troopers out of SP Olean responded to Community Bank, N.A., 3074 State Route 417 in the town of Allegany for a bank robbery. The suspect(s) fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Forensic Identification Unit are responding to continue this investigation. No injuries at this time.
This is an ongoing criminal investigation.
