Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on August 13, 2020, deputies arrested Danielle M. Wright, age 39, of East Market Street Extension, Corning, New York. It is alleged that Ms. Wright possessed a quantity of methamphetamine when being admitted into the Steuben County Jail for holding for arraignment due to allegations of Robbery and Assault based on an investigation by the Village of Bath Police Department. Ms. Wright was charged with Introducing Prison Contraband in the First Degree, a Class D Felony. Ms. Wright was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $ 15,000 bail as a result of the Robbery in the First Degree charge.
