On today’s Newsmaker Show, Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker said that Larry Schoonover, 51, of Bath, is being arraigned on numerous charges. “There was a domestic dispute that led to police interaction with him,” Baker said. “He took shots at police officers and neighbors during that incident. He was wounded and has been in State Police custody ever since. We are arraigning him this morning, and he will be charged with multiple counts of Attempted Murder in the First Degree, for attempting to kill State Police Officers and members of other police agencies, as well as multiple counts of Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree, for the rounds that went through his neighbor’s homes while they were in them, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, for the gun he used to commit those crimes with,” Baker said this morning.
