HORNELL, NY – Mayor John Buckley announced this morning that Hornell has received a grant from the state, for almost half a million dollars. This money will go towards rennovations at Veterans Memorial Park at James Street. Buckley says that the $427,500 grant will be used to:
Improve the tennis courts, demolish the handball wall, possily a new basketball court, improvements to the pool, and replacing the baby pool with a splash and play area.
