The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office Navigation Division will host a one-day New York State Boater’s Safety Course tomorrow, Saturday, September 7, from 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, on Rumsey Street, Extension in Bath. You have to be at least 10 years old to attend, seating is limited and pre-registration is required. There is no charge to sit in on this class. The state charges $10.00 for the boater’s certificate – unless you’re less than 18 years old. To sign up for the class call the Sheriff’s Office.
