ROCHESTER, NY – Canisteo native and WHAM talk show host, Bob Lonsberry, wanted to have a pro-first responder march in Rochester on Saturday, but it did not happen.
Lonsberry says the event ended up getting cancelled because of threats against against those who planned to participate in the march, including family members of slain Rochester police officer Darryl Pierson. “The police said that they’re concerned about public safety and asked us to call it off and we did,” WHEC quoted Lonsberry as saying.
