FROM HORNELL MAYOR JOHN BUCKLEY: “I am outraged by the recent acts of vandalism targeting the Hornell Public Library and two local businesses. The use of spray paint to deface public and private property is not only illegal—it is a blatant act of disrespect to our community and our institutions.
“This behavior is absolutely inexcusable and will not be tolerated in the City of Hornell. We take these crimes seriously, and those responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
“The Hornell Police Department is actively investigating these incidents, and I urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing those responsible to justice. Our community deserves better, and we will not allow bad actors to tarnish the pride we take in our city.”
