LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY – Assemblywoman Majorie Byrnes says that 11 group homes for the Developmentally Disabled were closed down recently in Dansville, Nunda, West Sparta, and other towns.
Assemblywoman Byrnes says it’s been chaos, that the developmentally disabled have been moved out of homes without any warning to family members. The GOP assembly member stated that those who were in group homes were put immediately into other facilities, and that this happened two weeks ago.
