CANISTEO, NY – Canisteo Village Mayor Bill Tucker says the town of Canisteo agreed to a fire contract with the Canisteo Village Fire Department.
The contract will only be for one year instead of three sought by the village. Also, at this time, no deal has been worked out between the Canisteo Fire Department and Hartsville.
In other Canisteo news, there are two new firemen in Canisteo, Ian Henderson and James Boone.
