There is construction work going on in the auditorium in the Canisteo Greenwood High School. Also, there is work happening in some classrooms in the Canisteo-Greenwood Elementary School. Coming up this summer there will be work on the third floor at the CG High School.
In other CG news, Human Resources Director Paul Cone says, school officials are working on the school district budget. There are two budget workshops in March: one on March 7 and another on March 28. The times and locations are yet to be determined. On April 22, the Canisteo-Greenwood School Board will approve the budget so that it can be presented to the voters. The proposed budget will be presented to the public on May 11 and voting day for the public is on May 19.
