CANISTEO, NY – From Canisteo Police Chief Kyle Amidon:
The Wimodaughsian Library will be hosting a Community Mingle again! Come meet and mingle with local police, fire and ambulance workers, and have hotdogs and drinks, courtesy of the Village Police, on Friday October 15th from 5 pm to 6:30pm. This is an opportunity for parents to introduce their children to first responders without the drama of an actual emergency taking place, so children can recognize these friends and heroes when they are not frightened. Socializing is one of the nicer things these folks get to do, and they would like to do it with all of you.
