CANISTEO, NY – Canisteo Police Chief Kyle Amidon reports that yesterday, Canisteo Village Police arrested John P. Sly, 42, of Maple Street, Canisteo, with three counts of Criminal Possession of a weapon in the 4th Degree. Sly was arraigned in Canisteo Village Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $3000.00 cash/$6000.00 property.
