FROM NYSP TROOP A: On September 16, 2023, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Ronald M. Eason, 62, of Canisteo, NY, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. Troopers responded to a suspicious person complaint on Rockland Ave in the town of Clarence and located Eason inside his vehicle. During the interview, Eason was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Eason had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Troopers located narcotics inside the vehicle. He was arrested and transported to Millard Fillmore Hospital where he submitted to a blood test. Eason was released with appearance tickets for the town of Clarence court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
