Canisteo Police Sgt. Giglio says the village police department has been working to purchase several street cameras, to be placed around on village streets. Giglio spoke about this at the Tuesday night Canisteo Village Hall monthly meeting.
In other Canisteo news, regarding the accident victim who was injured in the June 4 truck/pedestrian incident in downtown Canisteo, Police Sgt. Giglio says, she is still recovering. According to Giglio, she still has to have more leg surgeries, but is expected to survive.
