FROM THE STEUBEN COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPT: We have been notified that the NYS Department of Transportation will be performing Bridge Deck Replacement Work on the bridge carrying State Route 248 over Bennetts Creek in the Town of Canisteo. It is anticipated that the work will take place tomorrow, Friday, July 26th between the hours of 4:00am and 7:00am.
Be advised that during this time, the single lane road will be closed intermittently for periods up to 15 minutes.
