From The Canisteo Police Department:
On Thursday November 7th, 2019 the Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Darrell S. Towsley Jr (Age 18) of 20 Russell Street Apt 101 Canisteo, New York for1 count of Rape in the 2nd Degree, 3 counts of Criminal Sex Act in the 2nd Degree, 3 counts of Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the 2nd Degree, 1 count of Forcible Touching, 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 2 counts of Unlawfully dealing with a child in the 1st Degree and 1 count of Sex Abuse. These allegations stemmed from multiple incidents between February 2019 until present involving three different juvenile victims. Towsley Jr was transported to the Steuben County Jail awaiting Centralized Arraignment. School Resource Officer Harwood and Chief Amidon led this investigation.
