CANISTEO, NY – Canisteo Village hall is working on the budget, Canisteo Village officials say they are looking at a tentative tax increase of 4.8%. Officials say there are still items to review on the Tentative budget, but that the tax increase is anticipated to remain at 4.8% if changes are made.
There will be a budget presentation at 6pm on April 9th at Canisteo Village Hall.
In other Canisteo news, the Canisteo Fire Department received a $3500 grant from the Bethesda Foundation to purchase a new AED, battery and pads.
