CANISTEO, NY – What are they going to call the athletic teams in the Canisteo-Greenwood school district? As you already know, the state is making them drop the name “Redskins.
School Superintendent Tom Crook gave an update on this yesterday, he says the school is now down to four possible team names:
The Chargers – the Red Dragons – The Coyotes and The Red Hawks.
The winning name for Canisteo-Greenwood will be announced on June 5.
